Join the Implementation Science Academy’s September Seminar to learn from Professor France Légaré about shared decision making.
Her presentation will focus on providing an overview of the core concepts of shared decision making and provide practical examples of its application in research.

About the speaker:

France Légaré is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Laval University. France is Canada Research Chair in Shared Decision Making and Knowledge Translation and will talk about bringing a consumer voice to the scale up of health interventions. Scaling in health and social services (HSS) aims to increase the intended impacts of proven effective interventions. Patient and public involvement (PPI) is critical for ensuring that scaling beneficiaries’ interests are served in the scale up of innovations across whole systems. This presentation will describe current evidence on how PPI strategies in scaling in HSS are occurring and will provide recommendations on improving patient and the public involvement in scaling endeavours.
